Trunica held an info session at the Tampa Microsoft office to a great audience of the local Tampa bay developer community. The topic was building cross platform mobile applications using Cordova and Visual Studio.
This was no boring powerpoint only talk, the attendees got to see live demos of building applications across Windows, iOS, and Android in real time. Topics including creating user interfaces, storing data in the cloud, push notifications, debugging apps in real time, and more.
Attendees were able to see how quickly mobile applications could be created and deployed to multiple platforms. In the session applications were connected to cloud databases and push notifications in real-time. The real-time DOM debugging facilities of Cordova and Visual studio were demonstrated to show quickly user interfaces can be adjusted on different devices.
